A Michelson / Oceanographic Detachment 3 coffee cup, hand painted in Yokosuka from late 1964. These were personalized with the owner's name on the opposite side. I don't know where the "Fly by Night" motto came from. Perhaps we earned it at the Port of Palm Beach where we were known as the mystery ship. Der fliegende survey ship? |
